I am thrilled to have you be part of this exciting journey with me. I have been teaching painting for the past 20 years in my own little art school and am so excited to expand this experience online. 

During these next six weeks we will PLAYFULLY explore everything paint related - color, lline, composition, mark making, value and much more. I invite each and every one of you to share your work in the comments section below our classroom lesson. I can answer questions as they arise there and others often have similar questions too! With sharing we each learn from each other and grow in positive ways.  As the teacher my critiques and comments about your work is my job - not for other students. Positivity is welcomed !!

At no time will meanness or negative comments be tolerated from anyone in the group. In a positive environment we can all grow to reach our highest potential.

 I invite you to head over to the site and log in to view the materials list and begin when ready! Each day is open to view so I encourage you to get started.
I have created a shop at Amazon to make buying materials or gathering them a little more visual. One set of paints is all you need for this class. NOTE!: Please do not panic if you don't have all the right colors at the first day of class. You can order or buy them locally. There is plenty of time to review the material in the classroom for 12 full weeks! At no time do I expect anyone to keep up with the daily lessons on a daily basis. There is a LOT of material to cover. Please work at your  own pace. Life can get in the way and we all understand this!

I will be on hand via the classroom (see above) for interaction and EVERYONE should work at their own pace. i am on Facebook as Susan Schwake. Let's be friends!
