Is San Francisco's Chinatown one of America's oldest Chinese community about to be gentrified? As rising rents and the lack of space in the city continue, developers are looking towards Chinatown for offices, entertainment and housing especially as the subway is set to open in 2019. Many traditional Chinese businesses such as the banquet houses have been shuttered and some are being converted to a a tech start up or high end restaurants.
