China Cuisine Association Launch Young Chefs Competition with Australian Wild Abalone in China

To present overseas premium food materials to Chinese cuisine and catering industry, enhance Chinese cooks’ gourmet and nutritional knowledge of Australian Wild Abalone, and facilitate exchange and innovation of seafood cuisine techniques, supported by the Australian Embassy in China, China Cuisine Association and  Australian Wild Abalone have launched the  “Competition for Innovative Design of Australian Abalone Cuisine”  from July to November 2015.

Prices of Foreign Seafood Including Australian Rocklobsters and Abalone Multiplied in Qingdao City, Shandong Province China

Although not all Lobsters are Australian Rocklobsters, yet most hotels and restaurants near the areas of Zhanqiao of Qingdao sell them as “Australian Rocklobsters”, at prices of about 200 yuan/500 grams. The genuine Australian Rocklobsters will be sold up to about 400 yuan/500 grams. The prices of Australian Abalone and South African Abalone, from wholesale to hotels, increase even more than tenfold.

CAMPE has created a new mode for transaction online, delivery offline, and account settlement in Chinese currency RMB. CAMPE Members can establish settlements accounts with the CAMPE, linking with bank accounts. Before transactions are made between a seller and a buyer, the CAMPE as the third party will temporarily control the goods and the payments for goods.
