Summer is definitely in full swing. Kids are home and driving everybody crazy, but it is fun to spend time with them. J is working on a Lego Battle Bot and Aba is already training for gymnastics next year. However, there is still work to be done, and it appears that several clients are putting projects on hold. PeopleTools: Long/Lob & DataTime Datatype Issues

Recently, I was working on a PeopleTools 8.44 to 8.54 Upgrade and ran into some major issues with the fact that the database was so far behind in so many areas. On the Oracle platform PeopleSoft changed the way it handled Long datatype fields and also how it handled Date & Time datatype fields.

The Smart Panda spent the past weekend cycling from Grandbend to London (Ontario) and Back. A 150km round trip. Why You Ask? As a fundraiser to help end Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The event raised over $1.3 Million, and our team "Butt Ugly" raised over $44 thousand and counting! Thanks to everybody for their support.
