The list of things we love about cruising is miles longer than the list of things we don't, but that doesn't mean there aren't times when certain policies or the actions of others passengers drive us absolutely crazy. We're also dishing out some tips on preventing seasickness, and asking our members if they would take a cruise to Cuba.

What's New?

Searching for cruises by port! You can now use our cruise finder to browse cruises sailing to and from specific ports. Want to cruise to Venice, but don't know if it's considered Eastern or Western Mediterranean? (Hint: it's both.) Now you can head to our homepage and simply punch in the name of the port or country you want to visit, and we'll give you every cruise with that port on the itinerary.

People Are Talking:  Cruises to Cuba

With the U.S. normalizing relations with Cuba, cruises to Havana aren't far off. We asked our community if they would take the opportunity to sail to a country that has been almost completely inaccessible to Americans for over 50 years.

"In a heart beat! I wanna see Old Havana before it gets commercialized. Ex: Senior Frogs and Margaritaville." - Elizabeth DiBrino

"Never while Cuba is not free. I won't prop up a tyrannical dictatorship with my own money." - Joe Mariani

"Yes.. They are willing to let us visit so I would love to see there beautiful country." - Jeannie Williamson

"I've already been there, in 2012. I think cruise ships will ruin the pristine beauty of the coast. Take a ferry or fly like I did (from Miami)." - Mary Pitzen

"Yes, but not while the government still has a Castro involved. - Debbie Frances Mcfeeley

"comunism is only a political party, but once it gets to strict it stifles growth, look at china they have come a long way from the old days and tourists love it. its about time that cuba opened up, it will be good for the people of cuba, and a great place for investment once the economy is stable." - Neville Roberts

"Cigars." - Larry Hudson

Ship Tip: Norwegian Getaway

"If you go to the Howl at the Moon show, make sure you bring some singles to get your song played. Howl at the Moon is a cool dual piano show where the 2 musicians take requests from the audience. However, I noticed in order to get your song played the request needed to come with at least a $1 tip!" - Kris2Stepjohn
