It is a season of gratitude, thanksgiving, and hard work!  

My husband is tearing down our back deck.  It was old and in desperate need of repair.  Bit by bit he took it apart, carefully saving the pieces that we could reuse, and throwing away the dry rot wood and stuff that was in bad shape.  Last Saturday he spent 15 hours building a new frame for the deck, and we will now begin putting the parts back together.  We cannot wait to have our deck newly restored and safely able to hold people.  We will once again be able to host people and have play dates, and all that fun stuff!

The Quest move is a lot like the deck rebuilding.  We are taking things apart and putting them back in a new way!  We need the church to be full participants in this transition!  Our new building will be different, but good, bigger, and a better set up for Family Ministry.  We will have some new things and some of the old woven together in an exciting way!  Please consider the ways you and your families can be involved in packing, creative projects, organizing, and unpacking!  We'd love 100% participation!  

And we expect a wonderful new season of hosting kids and families - Questers old and new, and visitors from the neighborhood and around the world at Quest Ballard.  God is doing a new and wonderful thing through our church family!  See you at the work parties!
