Final program announced

Dr Laura Strawn (Virginia Tech) will be speaking on future food safety - the role of technology.

Associate Professor Channah Rock (University of Arizona) will illuminate water quality and water testing via video link.

Dr Strawn and Professor Channah Rock will join other expert speakers including Dr Valeria Torok (SARDI), Associate Professor Robyn McConchie (University of Sydney), Bonnie Fernandez-Fenaroli (Center for Produce Safety), Dr Robert Premier (Global FS Pty Ltd) and Dr Mark Turner (University of Queensland). 

Panel sessions include:
  • Understanding the Gaps: project overview, chaired by Dr Mike Butcher
  • Guidelines for fresh produce food safety: what changes do I need to know?, chaired by Catherine Richardson
