Welcome
Hello Everyone,
A big welcome to those who've joined this e-news after attending the Q'ld Garden Expo or Narara EcoVillage Permaculture weekend. I'm writing this welcome from London, on my way to Mallorca in Spain to present a one day Creative Facilitation workshop hosted by RuMi, then to UK for 2 courses and the IPC (International Permaculture Conference and Convergence). I'll be back home in OZ for 'The Joining' Gathering in late September and my 'Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning' 6 day training in mid November.
Exciting times and thanks for sharing the journey with me.
Thanks very much to Erin Young for supporting me to get this e-news to you.
Love and Gratitude,
Robin

Report ~ Social Permaculture Weekend at NSW's Narara Ecovillage
On the last weekend of July 2015, Robin was hosted by the Narara Ecovillage Living Network as the weekend's guest presenter at their regional permaculture gathering on Central Coast NSW. The theme was social permaculture - the application of permaculture principles to people - the arena where Robin is in her element.
Joined by the assistance of Erin Young, a variety of dynamic workshops were shared - from Creative Group Leadership, to developing a permaculture network, and exploring the permaculture principles at play in our lives. Robin facilitated a meeting for a regional permaculture network, embracing dynamic group techniques to help them understand their goals and intentions together.
The Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning tools were in full effect in drawing together a diverse array of folks, some who knew nothing of permaculture to those who were quite well versed. A few nervous glances were thrown around when participants first walked into the workshop room with all the chairs in a circle; but as the trusty magician worked it's magic for dynamic group facilitation, each group was quickly engaged, alert, contributing, interacting.... and having a bunch of fun! Seeing people who are used to sitting in rows scribbling notes come alive during a session is dearly inspiring.
