8/10/15 - TRID Update Status and No-Cost Processor Training

Now that we are in the midst of the 60 day final countdown, some issues have come to the forefront with respect to the TRID implementation. We have a draft implementation policy available here (Click to Download). But some best practices remain undetermined. In particular, for brokers and wholesale lenders, if the lender provides the Loan Estimate will this force brokers to place loans with multiple investors?
NO-Cost Processor Training Curriculum
After spending significant time updating training material, it became obvious to us that loan processing, as a curriculum, is something that largely exists in the public domain, meaning you can use the materials and courses at no cost. It just takes an extra step of putting it into order. That's what we did.

This great tool, which will lighten the compliance load for small companies, will be available once the system conversions are complete. We will keep you posted.
