Everything! As our membership and brand credibility goes from strength to strength so does the spotlight on the quality of our membership. Signing up to our code of ethics has been the principle criteria for membership. It is not sufficient any more to just say we care about the impact of our business on society, we have to outwardly demonstrate it. Carrying our logo is in part a way of doing just that but signing is easy when you are self-regulating your own ethical stance.
Business against poverty is developing significant strategies to increase our members and public awareness of the links between ethical and sustainable business practice impacting profitable business development, competitive differentiation and the contribution to poverty relief. Members can look forward to us producing new resources and further positioning in the ethical market.
