August 2015
Whoever tells you that working or volunteering for a charity is a good thing, then do take their advice and listen! From one month to another, we can never know what is going to happen but can be sure that it will be varied, I can honestly say that every day of every month brings a new idea/release/passion for everything we strive to do in relieving poverty here in the UK through our Bridging the Gap project to our international projects. Be it training our new apprentice one day (see introduction to Sophie below), to sharing our projects and events to young students at a recent National Citizenship Service event, to booking flights to Nepal to visit our project.
It’s always great to be able to promote our work to new people and we are always reinventing ourselves so that we can always stay on top and be able to give you, our donors, something that you want to read about.
So we hope you enjoy this month’s news and we would love to hear your comments or suggestions.
Thank you
Val Huxley CEO
