Over the course of my career, I have interviewed hundreds of amazing people ranging from Al Roker to
Mark Bittman, Mary J Blige, Barbara Corcoran and more. I am often asked what this wide array of people have
in common and there is one clear answer.

More than 95% of the luminaries I have interviewed had parents who made them feel that there was no limit to their dreams.​ The one characteristic they shared was parents who believed in them and made them feel that with hard work they could be anything.
