In collaboration with Wakefield Museum, The Art House will be celebrating 150 years since the unveiling of the Wakefield Industrial and Fine Art Exhibition. Designers Fraser Muggeridge and Laura Slater have produced a wall paper inspired by the 1865
exhibition poster, setting the stage for items from the museum's collection.
Join us as part of Wakefield's Artwalk to visit artists in their studios in both The Old Library and in The Art House building. A chance to meet artists and see their work in progress.
From painters to ceramicists, filmmakers to costumiers, find out about their work and what goes on behind the scenes at The Art House.

To celebrate the British Art Show returning to Leeds from the 9th October, the Bowery has brought together six emerging artists from around the country who either studied or developed their practice in Leeds.
The exhibition showcases the works of Timid Elk, Fiona Grady, Alexandra Glew, Alexandra Oddie, Emma Bennett and Megan Needham.
