Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville’s new work, The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma and The Silk Road Ensemble, will have its World Premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival in September. The film is about the acclaimed cellist and his longtime musical collaborators, a collective of diverse instrumentalists, including Kayhan Kalhor, Wu Man, Kinan Azmeh, Cristina Pato.
In August last year, Morgan Neville and his crew spent a few days in Galicia to shoot footage of Cristina in her homeland for this documentary.

In August, Cristina was happy to collaborate once again with the Vail International Dance Festival, directed by Damian Woetzel. This time, she teamed up with outstanding dancers like Lil Buck, Ron Myles, Audacious Adi and with the celebrated actor and clown Bill Irwin, pictured above.

In the first salon recital of mezzo-soprano Carla Dirlikov's El Camino Project, there was a very special guest... none other than Mr. Francis Ford Coppola, whom you can see in the picture above between Cristina and Carla.

O novo traballo do director gañador dun Oscar Morgan Neville, The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma and The Silk Road Ensemble, terá a súa estrea mundial no 2015 Toronto International Film Festival en setembro. A película trata sobre o aclamado chelista e os seus habituais colaboradores musicais, un colectivo diverso de instrumentistas, incluindo Kayhan Kalhor, Wu Man, Kinan Azmeh, Cristina Pato.
En agosto do ano pasado, Morgan Neville e mais o seu equipo pasaron uns días en Galicia para gravar a Cristina na súa terra natal para este documental.
