(Not) Across Iceland By Fatbike
An epic story on an incredible bike.
In July 2015 Tom Vincent attempted to ride his bike off-road, from the northernmost to the southernmost points of Iceland. The attempt was utterly unsuccessful. But in trying, he and his friend Jim rode over 650km and encountered snow, ice, gales, inedible food, psychotic bus drivers, terrifying river crossings and some of the most stunning scenery in the world.
On the 7th of October from 5:30pm-8pm, Tom will be here at Source (with his trusty fat-bike) to present an entertaining visual account of his adventure. Drinks and snacks will be on sale from the bar, all profits go to MND.
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The MND Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to improve care and support for people affected by MND, fund and promote research, and campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND are addressed by society.
