Countdown to the HU Pop-Up LitFest

Hello folks, this is just a quick reminder to remind you that at this year's Hawkesbury Horticultural Show, we'll be staging an experimental Pop-Up Lit Fest, bringing to our mini marquee in the Showground an amazing mix of published authors who will be delighted to meet you. You're warmly invited to come to listen to their informal readings from their work, which will be going on all afternoon, and to browse our book stall.

All the authors present will be very happy to sign books for you to buy. Signed books make great gifts, and if you want to order ahead for Christmas presents, you'll be able to do that too. 

At the same time, we'll be launching our new anthology of work by the authors who read at our April 2015 Festival, offering samples of their work for just £5. 

We'll also have some free activities available for children, providing a great chill-out opportunity at no cost, to the benefit of adults and children alike!

Our stall will be on the left as you enter the showground, backing onto the playpark, right by the Friends of St Mary's Pimm's tent.
