After 10 years it's time for a change!

New name, same mission, greater impact.

Since the KCMO CDE's inception on August 18, 2005, we have been committed to providing alternative capital to support catalytic investment in Kansas City, Missouri. Using the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Program alone we have supported nearly $120 million of investment ranging from a LEED Platinum manufacturing facility at 1600 Olive Street to a community center at 24th Street and Elwood Avenue.  

Now, as a newly designated community development financial institution (CDFI), AltCap is ready to take its mission even further and make an even greater impact in Kansas City, Missouri. We look forward to your continued interest in what we do, but most importantly we are excited about the opportunities to partner together with a renewed effort to deliver a wider range of capital and resources that supports job creating businesses and transformative real estate development projects in economically challenged communities throughout Kansas City, Missouri.
