Hey there emerging arts professionals! Are you working (or want to work) at the intersection of social justice and creative practice?

EAP/SFBA invites you to join us at Policylink’s Equity Summit 2015 (Oct. 27-29) in Los Angeles to represent your work & community in the Creative & Cultural Equity delegation! For details on the Summit check out the event’s website. If you are interested and want to participate in the Creative & Cultural Equity delegation, email: katherin(at)emergingsf(dot)org.

The intention of the delegation is to (1) ensure we have a arts representative at cross-sector conversations and (2) so we can debrief on the larger and practical take-aways during & after the Summit. Also, EAP/SFBA will create the opportunity to write and publish your reflection of the experience on our website (email Katherin if interested).

We encourage you to apply today to attend the Summit through the Center for Cultural Innovation’s (CCI) Quick Grant program!

Key dates:
  • Submit application by Sept. 15
  • Receive notice of award (if awarded) by Oct. 15
  • Attend Equity Summit Oct. 27-29

And last but not least, be sure to check out all of the upcoming recommended events below. There are plenty of good resources available from trusty organizations.

Keep up the good work!

Until next time,
Lauren Benetua, EAP Jolly Good Fellow
