Carrie DeMott was recently acknowledged in The Maui News for the Mayors Recognition Award on the Status of Women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. MIL fall athletics are in full swing. Both the girls' volleyball team and the cross-country team have been practicing for several weeks and have started in on their respective games and meets. Middle School Cross-Country practices start this week on Tuesday and Thursdays, with new coach and teacher Khara Lewis.
