Final application advice session

Journalismfund.eu’s next upcoming deadline is 15 September 2015. On Tuesday afternoon 1 September our editor Europe Brigitte Alfter will be available one last time to help you with your story idea.

If you are considering submitting an application, it might be worthwhile to talk with Brigitte prior to applying. She will see whether or not your story is eligible for a Journalismfund.eu cross-border grant, and be able to advise you on possible colleagues or publication platforms. European Cross-border grant

Journalismfund.eu's final cross-border grant application round of 2015 has its deadline on September 15th at 11.59 pm Brussels time. Journalists with good ideas for European cross-border stories can submit their applications for a working grant until then. Don't forget to ask Brigitte Alfter for advice if necessary. Read more

Freedom of Expression grant

Also on 15 September is the deadline for the new Freedom of Expression working grant, a new, €10,000 grant programme by Journalismfund.eu and the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom providing funds for journalists to document breaches of freedom of expression or press freedom in Europe.
