UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN
The library is not an after-school child care service provider.  Children must be 8 years of age or older to be alone on library property, and are expected to abide by the rules approved by the Board.  Children who choose to violate this policy will be asked to contact their parent or care provider to pick them up outside the library.  Repeated violations may result in lengthier time out. 
Please remind your children that the pampas grass on the west side of the library is not a toy, and can cut skin if it is pulled off, played with, or used as a weapon.
