SAVE THE DATE: Surgical Quality Improvement in Ontario Conference
Health Quality Ontario is hosting the province's first Surgical Quality Improvement Conference this fall. This event is an opportunity for surgical teams from across Ontario to come together to discuss best practices, share innovations, and explore ways of improving surgical care in Ontario.
Date: Friday, November 6, 2015 (day before OAGS Annual Meeting)
Location: Hilton Toronto, 145 Richmond St. West, Toronto, ON
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Clifford Ko, MD, MS, MSHS, FACS, FASCRS
Dr. Clifford Ko is the Director of the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care at the American College of Surgeons (ACS). He oversees all the ACS quality improvement programs and serves as Director of the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP).
Learning Objective: Conference attendees will learn how participation in the Ontario Improvement Network can accelerate improvement efforts and how teamwork can facilitate the achievement of long-term surgical quality improvement goals.

Pearson International Airport directly to Union Station. OAGS Membership Drive
We are still collecting annual dues for the current calendar year
(Jan-Dec, 2015)
OAGS membership invoices were mailed out with our newsletter in the first quarter. Second notices will be sent out in the coming weeks. There are two options to pay:

Cheque: Mail in with form Generic Form (Mail to: OAGS, P.O. Box 192, Stn. Main, Peterborough, ON K9J 6Y8)
NOTE: Earlier this spring, there was a discrepancy on the personalized invoices in the right column under the 2nd box entitled "21st OAGS Annual Meeting Registration". The amount of $50 should not have been listed in the Subtotal column. Please disregard. The fees have NOT changed, although there will be a new $25 admin fee for those who pay on the day of the Annual Meeting. Admission to the annual meeting is still FREE for current OAGS members (2015). We apologize for the typo and any confusion it may have caused.
