Pickin' After Dark - Dustbowl Revival

The Dustbowl Revival is what you could call an American roots orchestra with eight full-time members - and they play it all, mashing the sounds of traditional American music into a genre-hopping, time-bending dance party.

Paonia Film School Workshop - Story to Screen

August 22, 10am-2pm

Students will crew-up and create film from concept to completion. This hands on experience will teach students storyline, scripting, storyboarding and studio film production. Students will review work on the big screen at the Paradise.

Food Patriots

Join Downtown Colorado, Inc. (DCI) and the Colorado Health Foundation for a special, free screening of Food Patriots!

Food Patriots begins with a wake up call: filmmakers Jeff Spitz and Jennifer Amdur Spitz’s son got sick eating chicken contaminated with a superbug, and antibiotics failed. The film chronicles the family’s newfound interest in food sources, getting outlaw chickens, and meeting people from all walks of life who are trying to change the way Americans eat food, buy food, and educate the next generation of consumers. They call the people who are doing this Food Patriots.

After the film, stick around to hear North Fork Valley’s own food patriots address the question: “How can we be protagonists in our own food story?”

Onscreen Ads - Opportunity for Business Owners

The Paradise Theatre offers a unique and engaging slide show on the big screen, set to music, prior to every movie & special event. In addition we run the program on our lobby flat screen TV continuously throughout business hours. The ads show 5-6 nights per week, running approximately 30 minutes & cycling your ad through several times. A big bang for your buck! This opportunity is a great way to let customers know about any special events, sales, news or general business information, while reaching a diverse audience.
