Eat Out For Education- Every Wednesday
Join us August 19, at one of the six participating restaurants to benefit McKinley Elementary School PTO. Each week, 20% of your meal purchase (dine-in or take out) will be donated back to one of the schools in the San Leandro Unified School District.

Eat Out for Education is a fundraising campaign to increase resources for our schools while bringing together the community and stimulating the San Leandro economy! SLED's Eat Out for Education campaign encourages individuals and families to designate Wednesday as a night to dine together at a San Leandro restaurant in order to benefit public schools within the San Leandro Unified School District.

Friends of the Theater Corner Enjoy performances at the beautiful theater at the Arts Education Center, located next to the main San Leandro High School campus. San Leandro Education Foundation Board Meeting Interested in learning more about what we do? Think you might want to get involved? Looking to give back to your community? Our Board of Directors Meetings are open to the public on the third Wednesday of each month. Our next meeting is Wednesday, August 19 at 7pm at the San Leandro Main Library located at 300 Estudillo Avenue.		School Events Wednesday, August 19 is the first day of school. Monday, September 7 is Labor Day. There will be no school. Thursday, September 10 is Back to School Night for SLUSD elementary schools. Thursday, September 17 is Back to School Night for SLUSD middle schools. Thursday, September 24 is Back to School Night for SLHS. For the district's complete calendar, click on the calendar icon.
