Report from Recent Drive: Thank you so much to everyone who donated food and supplies to support our first Charleston Area Senior Citizens Food Drive and a special thank you to everyone who prayed for this outreach opportunity within our Church's neighborhood! Our donation box was overflowing with items by the end of the drive! I dropped off supplies early Monday morning and had two buggies stacked high top and bottom with our church's donations! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who supported this new outreach. We look forward to further opportunities to give back to our neighborhood and to those in need. "Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?" James 2: 15-16 --from Laura Philpott and the Downtown Community Group
