HUD has alerted NSP2 grantees on several occasions that NSP2 grant funds must be expended by September 30, 2015. This applies only to the original grant funds in the line of credit, not to program income. As Recovery Act (ARRA) funds, the NSP2 funds expire at that time. No extensions will be granted.

Grantees should plan to submit their final draws for disbursement no later than September 24. Grantees may anticipate their cash needs for expenditures through September 30 in the final request. Any line of credit funds that have not been disbursed by September 24 will be cancelled. Program income will remain available.
