Nexus Energy Center Tiny Green Home goes solar

Nexus Energy Center is so excited to announce that our Tiny Green Home is officially "off the grid!" The Tiny Green Home was outfitted with two brand new solar panels by local solar contractors, Southern Solar Systems.
This means that we can take the Tiny Green Home anywhere, at any time, without being hooked up to an electrical power source. The Tiny Green Home appliances, which are already built for energy efficiency, will now operate solely on the power of the sun.

Nexus Energy Center was so excited to participate in Huntsville's firstInnovation and Entrepreneur Weekend!
Organized by Innovate Huntsville, Nexus Energy Center's August Lunch and Learn: Home Energy Upgrades and How to Finance Them, kicked off this weekend of fun, friendly networking amongst some of Huntsville's brightest innovators!
The Tiny Green Home then joined BizTech for the finale of their SPARK competition in Downtown Huntsville on Friday night.
We had a wonderful crowd, and we were so pleased about the level of interest in the Nexus mission shown by attendees!

Nexus Energy Center's August Lunch and Learn: Home Energy Upgrades and How to Finance Them was one of the biggest member events of the summer.
Todd Witt, with Synergy Home Performance, LLC., spoke to attendees about the best ways to save energy in a home, some common myths about energy improvements, and how the Nexus Energy Center AlabamaWISE program can help finance home energy projects.
