Last Scoping Meeting & New
Comment Period Deadline Announced

Final Scoping Meeting is Scheduled!

September 29, 2015 • 6:00 PM
Franklin Pierce University, Field House
University Drive
Rindge, NH

This is a regular FERC Scoping Meeting, same as the earlier ones, presented in front of a FERC panell

Scoping Comment Deadline - The deadline for scoping comments has officially been extended through October 16, 2015.

This is the most recent notice:
NED-PF14-22-Supplement-NOI

Kinder Morgan's Formal Filling Date
According to an inter-agency conference call memo recently filed on the NED Docket, Kinder Morgan is planning on filing their formal application on October 24, 2015. I called Eric Tomasi, FERC's Environmental Engineer assigned to NED, to see if the new later Scoping Comment Deadline might push back Kinder Morgan's intended filing date. He said that since pre-filing is a voluntary process, they can technically file whenever they like, and as far as he knows at this point, they haven't changed that intended date.

In the meantime, we all may continue to file Scoping Comments, questions and requests for the EIS until October 16th. Anyone may file more than once, so if you've realized you needed to submit more, you can.

We might be in for a long haul ...

Launching multiple outreach campaigns, Kinder Morgan is showing no signs of withdrawing their application for the Northeast Energy Direct or CT Expansion pipelines. We will be in this fight for the long haul and can use all the ammunition we can get.

Thanks to the many who have already donated!
Please consider another gift and asking friends, family and colleagues to do the same. If you haven't donated yet, there's no time like the present!
