A Conversation with Ben Fordham and David Rood

2GB Presenter Ben Fordham and The Sun-Herald Editor David Rood join us this month to explain how they continue adapting to the ever-changing media landscape in Australia. The evening will explore the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for both radio and print, and where PR fits within the mix. The session will be led by Map and Page Director, Alana Mroz.  
Ben Fordham, Journalist, TV & Radio Presenter, 2GB

Ben is currently drive presenter on Sydney's No. 1 rating radio station, 2GB, where he has hosted Sydney Live in the 3pm-6pm shift since 2011. After launching his career at Sydney’s Radio 2UE and Sky News Australia, Ben joined the Nine Network in 1999 and, after lengthy stints with A Current Affair and the Today Show, his television talents spread across a number of Nine’s news and current affairs programs.

David Rood, Editor, The Sun-Herald

David Rood has worked as a journalist in Sydney and Melbourne since 2002. In March 2014, David became Editor of The Sun-Herald, which reaches over 800,000 readers each week and is put together by a dedicated reporting team and enhanced by the compelling content on the Herald’s suite of digital platforms. The Sun-Herald is passionate about breaking news and storytelling, but isn't only focused on 'what' is happening, but why it matters.
