Culinary compilation of 2010
After an insane couple of weeks I've finally had some time to sit down and enjoy a little of Autumnal Paris which makes a change. But not for long as I'm heading off to Germany in a week or so to do my annual crazy Christmas baking for the headquarters of VW, Autostadt.
In this momentarily calmness I pondered on what my tasty highlights of 2010 have been. While putting together this compilation I realised that there were just too many amazing experiences to just have the one favourite. From having two cookbooks published to doing culinary events in Australia TWICE...2010 has just been breathtaking. And the way things are shaping up it looks like 2011 has plenty of yummy (most definetly very calorific) adventures in store. So keep your eyes and possible mouths open (if you're in Paris) in 2011!

Something to keep the winter blues away...

Cuppa soup à la carotte with spiced cumin soldiers.

This soup is perfect to warm up the cockles of your heart. The bright orange colour, vitamin C from the carrots and oranges and the touch of spiciness from the cumin make this the antidote for the wet and cold weather outside.
