Maria was once a middle school teacher who sewed her own clothes for the fun of it. But she became more and more frustrated with the fact that the garments never turned out quite as she had imagined. So she took a bunch of classes and read tons of books about sewing, designing, fitting and drafting.
Now Maria uses her background in education to help other sewers make well-fitting every-day clothes through great MariaDenmark patterns, workshops and classes. Maria's patterns are easy to follow with plenty of scope for variety and they suit the many tastes of the modern woman
