St. Louis-Area Disciples Summit on Racial Justice
September 19, 9am-3pm
In cooperation with other Disciples, the NBA has supported local efforts for justice and racial reconciliation following the fatal shooting of Michael Brown in August 2014. This gathering invites Disciples to forge a unique mission imperative for racial justice in the St. Louis area.

The use of solitary confinement as a tool to alienate, punish, and discriminate continues across the country. The effects are being exposed as detrimental and damaging to the mental health of those so confined. Our Church has voted to study this matter and to explore ways to exact change. Read more >>

Reach Beyond Mission is a fully planned mission/poverty education experience, where youth join youth from other churches across the country to explore issues of culture, gender, and poverty in an urban setting. Mission weeks in 2016 will focus on poverty advocacy, food justice, affordable housing, and racism and poverty. Learn more >>
