Support Jewish Book Council Today!

Dear Jewish Book Council Supporter,

Over the past year alone, the Jewish Book Council has connected readers with more than 600 new fiction and nonfiction titles of Jewish interest. These books tell the story of the Jewish people—a diverse array of perspectives and narratives that enhance, enrich, and inform Jewish life, history, and culture across the globe.

The written word brings us together. It is key to the survival of the Jewish people—and it is what connects Jews to one another. And so we turn to you, our reader, to help us support the publication and promotion of books that speak to the breadth of the Jewish experience.

The coming Hebrew year, 5776, marks the 90th anniversary of Jewish Book Month, our foundational nationwide program now facilitating nearly 1,000 literary events throughout North America. As we approach the new Jewish year, please consider making a donation to help the Jewish Book Council in its efforts to encourage Jewish writers in sharing their stories—our story—and develop new programs to connect you and other readers to authors and their work.

The Jewish Book Council provides the tools for substantive conversations about Jewish life and identity across the community, from public programs, awards, and conferences to original essays by Jewish literature’s finest contemporary authors, book club resources, interviews, and reading lists for every interest. We need your support and generosity now more than ever to continue this important work. For more information, please click here or call 212-201-2920.

Happy reading!
