We are quickly approaching the most important date on the Scouting calendar, your Pack’s recruiting event! This one recruitment session will set the tone for the entire Scouting year!
Will your unit grow (steady growth is the best indicator of a healthy unit), and will positive, helpful, and new parents be recruited to fill every volunteer role?
A recruiting plan to assure an effective recruiting event was presented during our district Cub Recruiting Orientation on August 18th. If you missed the orientation, it is not too late to receive this valuable information!
This year, in addition to our district recruiting orientation, we are planning to conduct two more webinars. You will need to click on the link to register and receive an email with the webinar access information. We will conduct those webinars on the following dates:

We need two leaders from each unit to have either participated in the orientation on the August 18th, or on the webinar. This will set the tone for your entire Scouting year.
To support your effort, I have free flyers, posters and yard signs to be used for your recruiting event. I will gladly print up flyers for you with your specific recruiting event information! Your district executive also has a packet of materials that includes the mini Boys’ Life magazine, Parents Guide, Parent information Envelope, Sign-In Roster, Cub Recruiting Guide. Also, new to this year is our New Leader Guide and a webkey with access to all of our recruiting materials online.
