NEWS FOR PEOPLE ON THE MOVE

When you want to make a success of your relocation ...
Interesting Promo Actions until 12/09/2015!

So here we are again! The summer holidays are over and I think we all have been moved and touched by the news about so many refugees, people on the move, looking for shelter and safety. My heart goes out to all the refugees. I'm touched and feeling hopeful after all the spontaneous actions to offer support. It makes me realise how important it is to develop more understanding and flexibility in today's world where people in so many ways are on the move.

During the summer, my family and myself also returned back to Belgium. And I have to say, we fully experienced the reversed culture shock. (I shared some articles about the reversed culture shock on our Facebook page, which are interesting to read.)

It has been a while that we, as a family, went through this experience and honestly ... I had totally forgotten about the impact of coming home after a relocation.
As an expat, you change during your relocation and the place they call "home" also changes. There is no way that you can just return "home" and go back to "business as usual".

Experiencing this feeling again myself, convinces me more and more about the necessity to create a place for expats where they can exchange their particular experiences. Where they can talk about their feelings, hesitations, insecurities, exchange experiences, meet other expats, belong to a group etc. in a warm and cosy atmosphere.
From September onwards, we are organising workshops in the yurt, aiming to offer a cosy and relaxing meeting place for expats.
