Why is it that I can smell fall in the air so distinctly more than any other season of the year?  It's difficult to describe exactly what the scent is...leaves turning from green to brown and pine needles mixed in with colder morning temperatures.  That fall feeling has such an incredible sentimental association for me of the anticipation of snow on its way, leaves changing colors, and pulling out the warm socks and sweaters from the back of the closet. 

It's also the time of year when homesellers start to get antsy about selling before the normally quieter winter months.  There are always fewer buyers in winter as school starts and people settle in for the holidays.  We are seeing price reductions and a shift towards more aggressive pricing of new listings to decrease the days on market.
