From the Director, Dr. Anne Fenety

I had the honor of making the first contribution to the 2015 Scholarship Fund the day it was created. The funds came from the annual Fenety family Christmas Gift Fund, set up years ago by my three sisters, two brothers and me to honor our late parents, Jack and Joyce (Nason) Fenety. Read more about the Fenety's family contribution to Dalhousie University.

Research Update

MSc Rehabilitation Research Student, Amy Barrette completed a short course she took with Jim Neale on sport photography for her thesis.
50 years ago, Dalhousie University graduated its first physiotherapy students. Think of what drives our practice today, our educational models, our students and faculty and the fundamental theme that underlies much of what we know, how we practice and how we succeed in 2015. Read more about our latest research at the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy.

Student News

The first and second year students enjoyed a day of rafting during orientation week 2015.
Another back-to-school season has quickly come to an end as the students of Dalhousie's Physiotherapy program got settled into their, for some, new home. There were many hugs and stories shared between the returning Class of 2016 as well as many bright-eyed new faces in the Class of 2017. Read more from our students.

Clinical Education

Simone Vinneau, a physiotherapy graduate from the Class of 2013 is now a Clinical Instructor with the School of Physiotherapy.
This fall, the School welcomes the 52nd physiotherapy class through our doors. As our first and second year students begin their studies, a large component of their physiotherapy program are their clinical placements. The knowledge students attain from their clinical placements and instructors is an irreplaceable experience that fosters a lifelong foundation in the profession. These experiences are only made possible through the commitment of our alumni in becoming clinical instructors. Read more about the '5 for 50 Challenge.'
