Join us on October 3 for Buffalo Bayou Park's Grand Opening!
For Buffalo Bayou Park's Grand Opening on Saturday, October 3, we are inviting visitors to explore and enjoy interesting sites within the 160-acre park that stretches from Shepherd Drive to Sabine Street.
In Green Tree Nature Area, located just south of Memorial Drive at Waugh Drive, we're working with US Fish and Wildlife Service, Friends of Brazoria Wildlife Refuges, Midcoast, and Earthquest to bring the WILD to Buffalo Bayou with birds of prey shows, reptile and butterfly encounters, self-guided nature walks, and seed-ball making! This habitat restoration area will surely delight any nature-lover!
