September Environmental News

Regulating Microbeads

Microbeads have been widely used in cosmetics, including facial scrubs and toothpastes.  Unfortunately, they are also increasingly found in the environment, which is why microbeads are likely headed to the list of Schedule 1 Toxic Substances.  Read more about who might be affected in our in August 27th blog.

Air Quality Zones in Ontario

Should you be concerned about the three “Air Zones” for the province that were recently proposed by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC)?  Learn more about the three newly-proposed “Air Zones” in our August 13th blog.

Dragun Corporation to Present at an International Municipal Forum

The International Municipal Lawyers Associations (IMLA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the interests and education of local government lawyers (including US and Canadian lawyers).  Dragun Corporation will be co-presenting later this year at the IMLA 80th Annual Conference in Las Vegas.  We will be sharing the very unique story about how our clients were able to take control of the cleanup in their community (at a greatly-accelerated pace) while the federal government maintained their financial commitment.  Additional details will be available in the coming weeks.
