A program of the Cleveland Foodbank, Kid's Café provides a bagged lunch on a first come, first served basis that includes a sandwich, fruit and/or vegetable, a snack, and milk.
TUESDAYS

- See NFP at - Tremont Moves!, Nutrition at 6:00 pm and Strengthening at 6:30 at Merrick House (1030 Starkweather Ave.)
Nutrition Tuesdays will meet in Merrick House front lobby as they will be doing various excursions as a group!
WEDNESDAYS

- See NFP at - Tremont Moves!, Zumba at 6:00 pm and Kickboxing at 7:30 at Merrick House (1030 Starkweather Ave.)
Zumba Wednesdays will have Cleveland Clinic Caregivers provide free mini presentations prior to dancing from 6 -6:15 p.m. to give tips and provide motivational support! Zumba $2.00 charge starts at 6:15 p.m.
- Pace Tumbling and Eclectic Arts Program, 5:15 - 6:45 pm at Franklin Circle Church (1688 Fulton Rd.)
Tumbling classes for all levels of ability ages 6-17 yrs.
Classes are $40/month or $6/class.

Meet in the lobby of Lutheran Hospital for a 15 minutes health talk and join the group for a fun walk through historic Ohio City!
Lobby is at the corner of Franklin Blvd and Fulton Ave.)

Tumbling classes for all levels of ability!
Ages 3-5 yrs: 10am - 10:30
Ages 6yrs-Adult: 10:30am - 12pm (auditions held annually)

- NETWORK EVENT! - Fishing with Metroparks, 11am - noon - Erie Canal Reserveation (4524 E 49th St, Cleveland)
Ever wanted to learn how to fish? Do your kids want to know? Join us for this fun event to introduce your kids to fishing. Kids' fishing poles supplied. For those under 16 there no license required, others must bring own license and poles. If possible, please RSVP to Sarah at sryzner@nearwestfamilynetwork.org so we can be sure to have enough equipment for everyone.

Learning to read? Trouble reading aloud? Then visit with a Therapy Dogs International certified therapy dog for several minutes of comfortable reading. The dogs love to hear stories! Registration required. Please call the library at 623.6927 to get signed up for this fun new reading program.

This is a community festival celebrates West Side Community House's 125 years in the neighborhood with music, games and prizes. Music, dance, food, poetry performances, raffle drawings and more!
Tuesday, September 15
- Make Paracord Survival Bands, 4pm at Carnegie West Library (1900 Fulton Rd.)
Parachute cord, or Paracord, is a strong, yet thin and lightweight material, in which one strand can hold nearly 550 pounds! Paracord is not just used as parachute line, but also as lightweight material in survival bands, belts, and more. Visit the library and create your own Paracord band (Appropriate for grades 3+ and older).
Saturday, September 19
- See NFP at Car Seat Safety Day! 10am - 1pm at Dave’s Mercado Plaza, 3565 Ridge Road Cleveland
This is a free family event and includes a safety fair, touch a truck and activities for all ages. Get a FREE check for your car seat or booster seat from the safety experts at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital! Drop off your used or unneeded car seat for recycling.
Saturday, September 26
- Les Delices presents a free family concert!, 3pm- Bop Stop (2920 Detroit Rd, Cleveland)
This interactive concert-presentation about baroque music and instruments is recommended for children ages 5–15 and their families. The 45-minute program will introduce historical instruments including the baroque oboe, baroque violin, viola da gamba, and theorbo (a long-necked lute). Young listeners will get up close and personal with the music, exploring the different emotions music causes us to feel, and the artistic choices that performers make. Admission is free; but registration is recommended at www.lesdelices.org
OCTOBER
Sunday, October 4
- NETWORK EVENT! - 2nd Annual Fun Fest at Patterson's Fruit Farm, 10:30 - 12:30 - Chesterland, OH (directions and details will be emailed to everyone who RSVPs)
Tickets for Members will be $4 and $7.50 for non members (kids 2 and under are free). Reservations are required as we will be pre-buying tickets (email amgarland@gmail.com with the number of tickets needed). The Fun Fest is ideal for children 10 and under and is a really fun family gathering. There will be donuts, lots of kids and of course, APPLES!
