IDFFHK 2015

IDFFHK, a new acronym that has surprised the industry with its compact but yet rich content for their inaugural show. Short for International Design Furniture Fair Hong Kong, founder Winnie Yue managed to curate a show which is diverse, fresh and inspirational. Not to mentioned the high caliber speakers such as Andre Fu, Pinky Lai and Marisa Yiu in their Dialogue Speaker Series, the show is also educational.

Archetypal was invited by the UK Trade and Investment this year at this inaugural event to curate a show that is true to the Britishness of UK design. From design powerhouse Tom Dixon and Lee Broom to more up-and-coming brands such as Decode London, Another Country and Terence Woodgate, the collection demonstrates the prowess of British manufacturing and creative thinking.

Participating brands: Anglepoise, Another Country, Decode London, Lee Broom, SCP, Terence Woodgate and Tom Dixon.

For the first time in HK, we debuted the Melt Collection by Tom Dixon at the show completed with a drinks reception at our showroom in Wan Chai. Tom Dixon’s other latest collection continued on at the reception.
