ITN (International Training Network) #1 Placement agency for international interns in hospitality, and VATEL #1 International Business School for the Hospitality with 31 campuses worldwide.

Last week we were invited by the VATEL Hospitality Management School and ITN to attend their 2nd Annual Host Company Conference. Noted speakers included Ms. Darra Klein, Lead Program Analyst of the training Program for the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the Department of State – Mr. Michael McCarry, Executive Director of the “Alliance”, and two designated sponsors represented by Ms. Robyn Walker, Executive Director for sponsor CENET and James Bell, President Alliance Abroad Group amongst others. What a pleasure it was to be invited to the beautiful California Club and hear all about the J1 Intern Visa’s and the many benefits that this cultural exchange program offers to this industry.

Client highlight: Tender Greens

ECG provides Tender Greens Restaurants with the compensation intelligence they need to effectively manage their wages in order to be competitive within their industry. We have known their Human Resources Director for over ten years and we are proud to be associated with such a health conscious and employee friendly company.

Tender Greens is a fine-casual restaurant that provides healthy, farmer's market inspired food at an affordable price to its guests in a relaxed, eco-friendly space. They believe that everyone should have access to healthy, high-quality food at an affordable price. Tender Greens has developed partnerships with small local farmers, ranchers, artisans, boutique wineries, breweries and coffee roasters to provide the best quality ingredients and products for its guests.

Tender Greens beef comes from grain-fed hormone/antibiotic free cows; their chickens are raised on the range in Northern California; not in cages. Their tuna is sustainably line caught from the Pacific. They are dedicated to using only the finest ingredients that extends not only to the raw products, but to everything they use in their recipes – cold pressed olive oils, mustards, vinegars, cheeses, wonderful nuts and ground spices all help bring their customers the best dishes ever. They look for local boutique wineries, cool microbreweries and organic tea blenders to provide beverages that reflect the same commitment and care.

LA County Locations: Burbank, Culver City, Downtown LA, Glendale, Hollywood, Marina Del Rey, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Studio City, West Hollywood, Topanga, Torrance and soon to open Westwood.
