I'll begin with an apology and a learning lesson to take away from it
You know the feeling when something looks right but isn't quite right - well that happened with me - I realised tonight that the email address that was set as default was incorrect. Instead of roomescapeist@gmail.com it was roomeseapeist@gmail.com so I do apologise if you send me an email in response to my messages but it most likely went off into the ether never to be seen again. I did attempt to signup for that email address but the gmail signup page appears to be done. If you did email me and would like to try again please reply to this email. If you have any questions you would like discussed on the call please reply with your questions. I may not be able to address all calls.
So learning lesson from this is
1. when setting up an email account make sure to send a test message but also send a reply and make sure it is received before sending out to a larger group.
2. I'll try and avoid any other screw ups but don't expect everything to go in a polished way - I aim to learn and improve and will do a follow up survey and take on board suggestions.
Thanks to everybody who signed up - we are now up to 75 on the list. I have no idea how many will attend tomorrow. As you can imagine finding a time that suits everybody can be difficult so let's gauge this month and can see about future months.
So anyway below you will find the instructions for joining the call. If you want to connect to see my screen and see other members/take part in survey if have any then suggest you go to the web address 10 minutes before it is due to start to get the software installed. It is recommended you connect this way if possible as I have prepared a brief powerpoint presentation to go along with the topics.
- It is a dial in only call - no VOIP.
- When you want to say something please give your name and location
- One person at a time to talk
- Look what time the call starts at timeanddate.com with me as London at 11pm and then wherever you are based
- I will aim to start the call off 10 minutes early so people can join in early
