Sanctuary restoration is underway! Here's a time lapse video from last Sunday's clearing of the Sanctuary. The concrete is currently being refinished. We hope the new carpet will be installed by the end of next week and new pew cushions should be arriving in the next six weeks.
Depending on how the concrete work goes today in the Sanctuary, we'll either gather for worship on Sunday with foldout chairs in the Sanctuary or on the front lawn. Either way, we will need help with chairs at 9:00am this Sunday morning. If you are able to help our Hospitality Team by arriving at 9:00am to setup chairs, please RSVP to Pastor Linda here. Check our Facebook page on Saturday for details on whether worship will be outside on the front lawn or in the Sanctuary.
We hope you'll join us to see the restoration in progress as we continue our worship series called Earth-Honoring Faith. We will turn this week from Communion to Consumption and reflect upon how our faith might shape the ways we consume.
Please note: this will be our final week of Summer Children's Activities during the 9:30 am worship service. Children will join us at 9:30 am for the first part of worship and then be led by a team of volunteers to a separate room for age-appropriate activities. A new year of Godly Play will begin next Sunday, September 6.
