Pikes Peak is definitely an amazing sight that defines Colorado Springs. Well, let's stop looking UP to the mountain, and let's go to the top.
Please bring cash. The cost is
$12 per adult,
$5 per child, or
$40 per car (up to 5 people). We can carpool to the top. My car is leaving at 0930 on Saturday from my house at Woodmen and Rangewood. If we want to meet somewhere more central, then contact me and we can work that out.
If you are driving up, make sure you have good brakes, and make sure you have a full tank of gas. It does take a bit more fuel to get your vehicle to the top of this beast.
