See ya later Summer and Hello Fall!
With Labor Day almost upon us it's hard not to start thinking Football, Pumpkins and Scarecrows. Official kickoff for Fall in Cambria is our annual Labor Day Pinedorado Parade followed by a weekend full of fun, kids games, bbq & food booths, beer & wine garden, car show, face painting, art show, live music and more. Needless to say it's a fun weekend in Cambria. Inspired by this fun kickoff to Fall, we have a couple recipes to kickstart the season. All the items in our recipes can be found at our Cambria store or on our website.

Pumpkin French Toast

INGREDIENTS
1 Pumpkin Pie Cheeseball & Dessert Mix
8 Slices of Bread (Sourdough or French)
 3 Large Eggs
 1/4  cup Milk

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat a non-stick skillet set over medium heat. In a mixing bowl whisk together Cheeseball Mix (Topping used later), eggs and milk until well combined. Pour into a shallow dish. Butter skillet and dip bread into egg mixture (allowing a few seconds for it to absorb mixture), then rotate and coat opposite side. Transfer to skillet and cook until golden brown on bottom then flip french toast to opposite side and cook until golden brown. Serve warm with butter, maple syrup and sprinkle with Topping packet.
This Pumpkin Cheeseball mix is one of our favorites at A Matter of Taste. It makes a delicious dessert cheeseball, or a pumpkin cheesecake. Lots of great ways to enjoy this mix.

Pinedorado Parade Bloody Mary's

INGREDIENTS
5 1/2 ounces Stonewall's Peppadew Sriracha Bloody Mary Mix
2 1/2 ounces Vodka
3 Lemon Zest Stuffed Olives
2 Pickled Asparagus
Celery Stalk and Wedge of Lemon

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Mix Bloody Mary Mix and Vodka and pour over ice. Garnish with Celery, Asparagus and Olives with a wedge of Lemon. (Let's face it, Bloody Mary's are like a blank canvas when it comes to garnish. You can stick a piece of shrimp and a big wedge of spicy cheddar cheese. We've seen a lot of crazy things on top of a bloody mary. Make it the way you enjoy it best.)
Sit back and enjoy the parade.
