Our clean team is out and about sweeping the sidewalks and gutters, removing graffiti, steam cleaning the sidewalks and plazas, painting street furniture and generally keeping the neighborhood clean. The clean team wears blue shirts and bright yellow hats with the CBD logo. Say hi when you see them.

Our Ambassadors have reached out to 1033 visitors in August! We've had visitors from Ireland, Sweden, Italy, Argentina, Germany & a group from France that sang to our Ambassador. Keep up the positive work!

Castro Cares

To view current homeless outreach and police data visit our website. This information is updated monthly and quarterly.

Castro Cares resources were out on Friday. Castro Cares Homeless Outreach Team was out 7:30am - 9:30am, then again from 1pm to 3pm. Friday evening Castro Cares funded an overtime police officer on foot patrol with a Patrol Special officer from 7pm - 3am. Castro Cares, improving the quality of life for all in the Castro!
