Continuing on with the thought of Volunteers (News #1 featured the Eudunda Garden's Volunteers). Another group of hard working volunteers is the members of the Eudunda RSL. Not only do they look after many organisations during each month for meetings, and special events, but they serve a regular Monthly Sunday Lunch. Having just posted the first newsletter for ECBAT out to everyone on the 27th Aug, and then an urgent update the same day, I was a bit unprepared to be sending out another newsletter so quickly, but the news keeps coming in pretty quickly. At the moment it seems better to have shorter - more timely newsletters, so see how it goes. Thanks to those who have given us feedback already - much appreciated.

Free Volunteers Afternoon Tea 27th Sept 2015

We know many of you business owners are also volunteers for various organisations.
ECBAT have been running the volunteer appreciation event for a few years and this is the first time for a Sunday Afternoon. Here is a chance for you to get along, network and have a good time. you will be surprised just where all the volunteers are.

Swann Insurance 24 Hour Video Highlights
Eudunda should be proud!

The region around Eudunda should be very happy knowing that a high quality 9 min video was released showing highlights of Eudunda's biggest biannual event - the Swann Insurance 24 Hour 2015. Over the weekend from Friday to Sunday the district hosts many visitors. It is calculated that some 10,000 to 15,000 are involved in the event over the whole weekend. A massive amount of work and organisation. All from Volunteers!!!!
Check out the photo at the end showing local Eudunda lad Toby Lewis for his podium finish. See if you can recognise the locations. Great work from the 24 Hour Committee and especially well done to Chris Caust for another top video. Congratulations also to all who competed and supported the event (a major local effort indeed).
