Before we tell you about a superb book which we highly recommend, just a quick update on that book - "Into the River" - or Into the Sewer as we call it. Thank you to the hundreds of families who contacted the Censors office to protest their new (and liberal) classification of this objectionable book. The good news is that the Secretary for Internal Affairs has approved our application for leave to apply to the Film and Literature Board of Review to review the classification - again! We are also applying for an Interim Restriction Order on the book until our appeal is heard.

What is most concerning is the fact that lobbying by those in the book industry can pressure the Censor’s office to undermine the authority of the whole appeal process and the Board’s decision! We believe the Censor’s office has acted illegally. What other trash books will they be lobbied to sneak through? We'll keep you up to date with progress.

Now, on to a book which is definitely worth reading.....
