Proceeds from the 2015 5k Bier Run will go to help the United Way, The Rainey Institute, The Berea Achievement Center and other local charities. Awards presented to the top overall male and female runners, as well as men & women's age groups from 14 & under through 70 & over.

Age Class winners 20 and over will receive a Commemorative Ceramic Mug (pictured), while Age Class winners 19 and under will receive a medal.

Featuring a Full BarThe Cleveland Oktoberfest is excited to announce that in 2015 we'll be opening a new large entertainment tent, sponsored by Hacker-Pschorr. Entertainment in the tent will include Grammy nominee Alex Meixner, The Chardon Polka Band, Crazy Chester, Europa, DJ Kishka, Harmonia, The Klaberheads and The Diamond Project (Neil Diamond Tribute)! “Masskrugstemmen,” translates loosely to the lifting of a liter mug of beer (leave it to Bavarians to condense those seven words to one for the sake of convenience). Masskrugstemmen is a well-known and competitive Bavarian sport, right up there with masskrugdrinkin (we’ll let you figure that one out). The “Masskrug,” a 1 Liter Stein, is held with one arm, completely outstretched and parallel to the floor. The goal is simple: to hold a filled stein for as long as possible, outlasting the competition.

Sounds easy, right? It’s not, but consider the gauntlet thrown, as you've now been officially challenged to enter one of our Masskrugstemmen Prelims to be held in the Cleveland Oktoberfest Bier Garten Friday at 8:00pm, Saturday at 8:00pm, & Sunday at 7:45pm. The cost to enter is $20, for which you receive a high quality, 1 Liter, glass Paulaner masskrug (stein), filled with the Paulaner bier of your choice. The top competitors from each day will advance and be given comp tickets to return for the Final to be held Monday, Sept. 7th at 3:30pm in the Bier Garten. The overall winner will receive a $500 Prepaid Visa Gift Card.
